About CVCC

Central Valley Claims Consultants was designed with one thing in mind, to assist you in a very stressful time.  CVCC realizes that there are few choices when it comes to assistance with your automobile insurance claim.  In most situations, you have to work through the process yourself, or attain an attorney, which can be a costly choice, many times resulting in extended treatment and a lengthened settlement process.  The process many times makes the settlement larger, but few times does it benefit the injured party in any way.  Because attorney's are paid based on a percentage of the settlement, many injured persons are pushed to be dishonest, treat extensively after their body is healed and endure a more stressful claims process to inflate the settlement of the claim.  The end result is usually the same, you end up with what you would have if you never retained an attorney and the attorney receives a third of the inflated settlement amount.  And this is assuming that all of the overtreatment, dishonesty and time paid off and your claim was not rejected due to these issues.  CVCC makes it easy, we walk you through the process step my step, instruct you on what the insurance company needs, help you organize your claim data and help you expedite your claim to a quick settlement with the least amount of confusion and frustration as possible.  All of this for a flat, one time fee...no matter your settlement amount!

Please see examples below:

Normal claim handled properly:

Back injury, treatment with the chiropractor ends up being 12 visits over 4 weeks for a total of $1200.  You are feeling much better and the chiropractor tells you that the bodily will naturally heal itself.  The insurance company evaluates your medical bills, treatment and complaints since the claim was first handled.  The present an offer to you of $3000.  You are able to pay your medical bills, get your car fixed (not included in settlement) and you walk away after 1 month with a resolved claim and a additional $1800.

Attorney involved:
Back injury, treatment with the chiropractor ends up being 12 visits over 4 weeks for a total of $1200.  You are feeling much better and the chiropractor tells you that the bodily will naturally heal itself.  The attorney recommends continued treatment based on the fact that extended treatment will get you a larger settlement and you deserve more.  You end up treating an additional 12 times with the chiropractor over another 6 weeks since the chiropractor has decreased the number of visits per week.  Your total bill is now $2400 and you have treated a total of 2 and a half months.  The insurance company reviews your bills and two things may happen:

Scenario A

A)  The insurance company will accept the treatment and will make you an offer in the ballpark of $5000 lets say.  You think this is great, I pay my bills and I now have $2600 left over.  Then you get the bill from the attorney for $1700, a third of your settlement.  Now you pay your bills (-$1200), your attorney              (-$1700) and are now left with $2100.  You are left with only $300 more than what you started with and had to treat for an additional 6 weeks to get there. (And this is the best scenario)

Scenario B

B)  The insurance company reviews your chiropractors bills and records, (which they always do) and sees that the chiropractor actually felt that you were resolved after the first 12 sessions but you decided on your own that you would continue treatment.  They then decide to cut you a break and give you an additional 4 sessions.  Now the check you receive will only have credit for 16 sessions with the chiropractor (since they cut the additional visits off due to over treatment), plus they added their normal pain and suffering.  Probably in the ballpark of $3200.  So now you have to pay the chiropractor *full amount for 24 sessions (-$2400), your attorney (-$1000) and how much do you have left? (-$200).  In some cases the chiropractor will cut you a break and only make you pay for the sessions the insurance company paid you for.  But don't count on it, it was not at their recommendation to keep treating, it was your own choice.

Many people think this is unrealistic, but coming from an insurance background, I can assure you that this happens all the time.

You must weigh your options carefully and understand how this process works.  At all times honesty is the best way to resolve your claim.  The above is just and example, but it is a very real example and shows just one of the ways that CVCC can be a positive alternative in the resolution of your injury claim.
